• The company Agropastoril Gaboardi Ltda commenced operations back in 1986, when it acquired the first farm in the municipality of São José do Cerrito;
• The objective was to plant commercial forest species, among them Araucaria angustifolia, which at the time was widely used in the timber products production chain.;
• Over the years, Pinus spp plantations have been implanted for commercial purposes;
• Today the company has a patrimony of approximately 12,000 hectares, and commercial forest assets are distributed in approximately 5,500 own and leased hectares, ie, more than half of the areas are occupied by Legal Reserves and Permanent Preservation Areas, among others;
• Our farms are located in 12 municipalities of Santa Catarina: Brunópolis, Campos Novos, Correia Pinto, Curitibanos, Fraiburgo, Lebon Régis, Ponte Alta, Ponte Alta do Norte, Santa Cecilia, Sao Cristovao do Sul, Sao Jose do Cerrito and Vargem ;
• The cultivated forest species are Pinus taeda, Pinus elliottii, Araucaria angustifolia, Populus spp and Eucalyptus spp.;
• 95% of the cultivated area is occupied by Pinus species;
• We currently harvest the commercial projects and make available to the market approximately 15,000 tons of logs per month;
• We generate 75 direct jobs and more than 50 indirect jobs;
  
• The areas of effective planting are managed with the objective of producing logs with high added value. For this, we carry out forest management based on the results of forest growth;
• Seeking business sustainability, we value the development of forest products respecting the environment;
